step on the path
towards success strapped
with burdens of disappear
and share not your disdain
on anyone’s ear;
pace your celebrity
with patience to be someone
more than they’re expecting
of the individual lost
in originality;
stroll past memories
where the weight became too
hard to bear; keep your eyes
high and shoulders to the sky
step in the direction of progress:
you’re allowed to ask ‘Why?’
walk on water, swim in the sea;
don’t run from life,
your being is too precious
to have no meaning.
